We are two pro clowns who live in a 1922 bungalow in Portland Oregon. Every few days people from around the world come through and stay in the rooms. We clowns can ignore them or be very helpful. We don't own the house but we do love it. Sometimes we become "single serving friends" having adventures with the guests. People ask if we work here. Nope we are just the clowns who live in the attic.

cannabis safari
Having my morning coffee and doobie tonight on the porch.
A couple from Japan who are staying at our place just walked up from an evening on the town.
I felt a bit self conscious stinking up the place.
We hadn't met and I know the pot is highly illegal in Japan.
They quickly put me at ease.
Dude gives me the slow smile and nod then pulls out a spliff of his own.
They are here for a cannabis safari.
LOL.
I hear they got a few Portland themed shops over in Japanistan. My new friends are all loaded up with Kush, Voodoo donuts, and coffee fun.

Contraband Canadian food.
We were paling around with a couple of young women from Victoria Canada.
They gifted us some crazy Canada food that they accidentally brought over the border.
I wanted to not like the Ketchup flavored chips but they were great.
lol We are making great friends.
Normally we don't have time of headspace for strong friendships but we make great single serving friends.
I like being the first and last Portlanders a lot of people meet.
Hope ya got some laughs from this blog
Like what we do?
We live out of a tip jar (sometimes chicken sometimes feathers) if you are in a place to keep our sunny side up and rubber side down then feel free to drop off a donation at our website.

I thought we were all about Canadian Hippies last night, I was wrong.
When i got home from clowning, i met some shaggy Canadians with guitars returning from Pickathon. Great folks.
I thought we were all about Canadian Hippies last night, I was wrong.
Late at night I was in the back yard and heard our side door open. When I went to investigate I found nothing out of place but there were several yahoos across the street talking at me, I ignored them. I went to the front door and started punching in the code.
I didn't have my glasses so I fumbled many times.
Then the door opened from within.
Inside our very dark living-room was a bald, gorgeous, black man in his tighty whities who was almost as tall as the ceiling. He let me in and put a finger to his lips (for me to be quiet) then pointed the finger out the window at the men across the street who were now approaching our pad.
After that, he turned around and went into one of the rooms without a word. I guess he had been watching them in the darkness.
They knocked, I answered and at 3 am or so 5 drunk dudes walked in loudly asking for beers, women and asking if I wanted LSD.
It took me a moment to realize they were not at all affiliated with anyone staying with us. I was smiling but I was also loudly saying "Turn around dudes, you are in the wrong spot Yo. Get the Mcfuc out!"
I shepherded them out of our place and watched them to make sure they kept going. Three of them started complaining that I was giving the boot but two of them mentioned how cool I was being under the circumstances. That was pleasant of them.
I woke up next morning and couldn't ask any questions because now the rooms are full of lovely Ballet dancers from Seattle.
They knew nothing about what I just told you.
how it goes. Thanks mysterious stranger for letting me in last night. That was clutch that he knew the difference between me and some drunk yahoos.
Hope ya got some laughs from this blog

mexican food
We have been "single serving" friends to a couple of cool cats from China.
There is a bit of a language barrier but that's my fault.
They were nice enough to show up knowing a lot of my language.
They are a riot. One of them was brave enough to ask for a ride on my tallbike.
It was super funny.
They got really animated.
They said they never tried Mexican food.
We decided to take them to the Mercado.
Hope ya got some laughs from this blog

They still haven't tried Mexican food. They don't know English or Spanish so they were just going by the photos outside the foodcart. They got lunch from a Cuban food vender. :)

We got home today soaked and face melted after rocking a party appearance.
We got home today soaked and face melted after rocking a party appearance.
We could have worn raincoats but we purposely don't. When folks in traffic see us drenched in bad weather they lose their minds.
People honk, yell and encourage us the entire commute. Normally they only do that for most of our commute.
It's a profound delight to make those folks so happy.
We do pick our moments and do this sparingly.
The gear and threads can only take so many torrents.
Also this is how George Washington died.
He got sick after a long horse ride in the rain. We ain't going down like that.
All warm and dry now.
Hope you are too.
