We are two pro clowns who live in a 1922 bungalow in Portland Oregon. Every few days people from around the world come through and stay in the rooms. We clowns can ignore them or be very helpful. We don't own the house but we do love it. Sometimes we become "single serving friends" having adventures with the guests. People ask if we work here. Nope we are just the clowns who live in the attic.

This house wouldn't be renting rooms if the owner (who lives here too) hadn't been in a car crash.
Massive med bills messed up her nest egg. Gotta rent rooms to keep the bills paid but what an amazing spot she created. Living in a nice crib keeps our standards up and diplomacy is what clowns do so we are way happy. We are perfect for this real life sitcom.

1922 bungalow in and outs
Japan in the house. An adorable couple just arrived. They are cyclists who are touring this country on thier bikes.
It's a riot overhearing Olive Rootbeer communicating with them.
They don't know each other's language but it's still working out.
We recently had folks from Dallas Texas in one room and a couple from San Antonio in the other. I call them "metro-texans" because they are adept at taking buses and don't throw pizza crusts in the recycling.
Lately we have hosted pot smoking oldsters from the midwest,
Middle Eastern folks on honeymoon,
Euginians here for a show,
Californians and lots of Canadians.
My favorite thing to say before locking the door at night is
"Are all the guests in for the evening?"
That's fun to say as a fake employee.
Hope ya got some laughs from this blog
